HAIR has been a professional salon in Madison in one fashion or another for fourteen years.

Hair Off State

HAIR started with a one chair salon called Hair Off State located on Francis street in 1996.

The salon rapidly grew to accomodate a 3 chair facility on Gorahm in 1997, and moved across the street to a 6 chair studio in 2000.

Hair at 912

A year later, in 2001, Hair Off State became Hair at 912 on Williamson St.

HAIR

Hair at 912 became HAIR in 2003 when we moved to our current Monroe Street location with 9 chairs.

Happily settled, and into our fifth year of business in the Vilas Neighborhood area, we expect to make our current location our home for quite some time.
